A La Carte Spring Menu

MENU DI PRIMAVERA

(February 2019-June 2019)

We aim to produce a new menu for each season providing fresh, modern Italian cuisine with a strong Mediterranean flair using organic and free-range produce wherever possible. Children are most welcome. We offer dishes marked with a smiling face at half price for a child’s portion . Vegetarian dishes are marked with a V. Some dishes may contain nuts.

Allergies

Some of our dishes may contain nuts.We have gluten-free pasta available on request. Many of our menu dishes can be amended for people with allergies. Please inform your waiter if you have any allergies or intolerances and we will try our very best to create a dish to your specific requirements. We also have a list of allergens contained in our menu dishes which is available on request. We take allergies very seriously, and if informed we will do all we can to ensure you have a wonderful and safe dining experience.

Burrata con Pomodorini e Rucola £7.95
Burrata cheese with cherry tomato and rocket,
drizzled with extra virgin olive oil.

Cozze con Fagioli e Pomodoro £6.95 starter £13.95 main
Fresh mussels sautéed in garlic, chilli and white wine.
Tossed with fresh tomatoes and Spanish beans.

Coniglio e Patate £7.95
Slow roast, shredded rabbit served with milk poached
potatoes and melted provolone cheese.
May contain small bones.

Salmone Affumicato con Gamberetti e Zucchine £7.95
Smoked salmon, crayfish and courgette ribbons. Drizzled
with a lemon and olive oil dressing.

PASTA E RISOTTO

Fusilli Bucati Amatriciana £6.95 starter £12.95 main
Fusilli pasta in a rustic tomato sauce with a hint of chilli, guanciale (cured pork cheek) and red onion. Topped with parmesan cheese.
V for our vegetarian guests we can omit the guanciale and replace with mushrooms and vegetarian parmesan.

Linguine al Nero di Seppia £6.95 starter £13.95 main
Linguine pasta with black cuttlefish ink, garlic, fennel seeds and chilli. Tossed with mixed fish, king prawns and baby spinach. We can omit the squid ink if you would prefer.
Traditionally Italians do not serve cheese on fish pasta – but if you would like it please ask!

Garganelli con Salsiccia e Funghi alla Norcina £6.95 starter £12.95 main
Artisan pasta tubes with Italian sausagemeat and mushroom in a cream sauce. Finished with parmesan shavings, rocket leaves and drizzled with truffle oil.
V or our vegetarian guests we can omit the sausagemeat and replace with mixed beans and vegetarian parmesan.

Tortelloni alla Ligure con Patate e Pesto V £6.25 starter £12.95 main
Handmade artisan filled pasta with potato and pesto. Tossed in garlic butter with broccoli florets. Finished with vegetarian parmesan shavings.

Risotto con Pancetta Zucchine e Taleggio £6.25 starter £12.95 main
Arborio rice cooked al dente with pancetta, courgettes and taleggio cheese. Topped with rocket and parmesan shavings.

MAINS

Arrosto di Maiale con Vino Rosso £6.95 starter £14.95 main
Outdoor-reared pork belly, cooked with chilli and red wine. Served with potato wedges and spinach.

Tonno alla Griglia con Aceto Balsamico £15.95
Grilled tuna steak, served rare. Finished with a drizzle of balsamic reduction and served with potato wedges and a Niçoise style salad.

Pollo con Funghi Caprino e Salsa al Dragoncello £13.95
Free range chicken breast cooked in a cream, tomato and tarragon sauce. Topped with grilled mushroom and goats cheese. Accompanied with a timbale of rice and spinach.

Salsicce N’duja e Fagioli £14.95
Speciality Italian sausages, slow braised with borlotti beans in a spicy tomato and n’duja sauce. Served with mashed potato and broccoli florets.

Merluzzo con Salsa di Pomodoro e Fagioli £15.95
Grilled cod loin on a bed of tomato sauce with Spanish beans and olives. Served with mashed potato, green beans and spring onions.

Filetto con Funghi Dolcelatte e Vino Rosso £22.95
Grilled prime fillet steak in a rich red wine, mushroom and dolcelatte sauce. Served with potato wedges, carrots, green beans and spring onions.
If you prefer you can have the fillet plain grilled, just ask!

Arancini Vegetariani V £10.95
Homemade Arancini (Sicilian speciality, deep fried rice balls) made with roast vegetables and a mozzarellina cheese centre. Served in a spicy tomato sauce topped with vegetarian parmesan cheese.
