A La Carte Spring Menu

MENU DI PRIMAVERA

(February 2020-June 2020)

We aim to produce a new menu for each season providing fresh, modern Italian cuisine with a strong Mediterranean flair using organic and free-range produce wherever possible. Children are most welcome. We offer dishes marked with a smiling face at half price for a child’s portion . Vegetarian dishes are marked with a V. Some dishes may contain nuts.

Allergies

Some of our dishes may contain nuts.We have gluten-free pasta available on request. Many of our menu dishes can be amended for people with allergies. Please inform your waiter if you have any allergies or intolerances and we will try our very best to create a dish to your specific requirements. We also have a list of allergens contained in our menu dishes which is available on request. We take allergies very seriously, and if informed we will do all we can to ensure you have a wonderful and safe dining experience.

Crusty rustic bread, served with a whole bulb of
slowly baked fresh garlic. A must for garlic lovers!

Bruschetta Con N`duja Taleggio e Pomodoro £4.95
Toasted artisan bread topped with tomato, N`duja and Taleggio cheese.
V for our vegetarian guests we can omit the N`duja and replace with balsamic roast onions.

Bruschetta con Bresaola Fontina e Cetrioli £4.95
Toasted artisan bread topped with bresaola, Fontina cheese and baby pickles.
V for our vegetarian guests we can omit the bresaola and replace with grilled vegetables.

Shredded, out-door reared pork. Served on top of a Fontina
cheese mash and Friarielli.

Olive e Ricotta con Cipolle Croccanti V £5.95
Chilled, slow roast tomato topped with olive tapenade
and ricotta, sprinkled with crispy onions and truffle infused croûtons.

Raviolacci N`duja e Pecorino con Salsa di Pomodoro e Cipolla al Balsamico £7.95 starter £15.95 main
Handmade, artisan filled pasta with N`duja (a fiery calabrese salami). Tossed in a cream and tomato sauce with balsamic roast red onion. Topped with rocket leaves and pecorino.

Pappardelle con Funghi Misti Burro e Salvia V £7.95 starter £15.95 main
Pappardelle pasta with mixed wild mushrooms, sautéed in butter, garlic and sage. Finished with vegetarian Parmesan cheese.

Penne all`Arrabbiata ai Tre Formaggi V £6.95 starter £13.95 main
Penne all`arrabbiata tossed with vegetarian
Parmesan, Taleggio and Fontina cheese.

Fettuccine con Ragû di Pesce e Pomodorini £7.95 starter £15.95 main
Fettuccine with chilli garlic and olive oil, sautéed with cherry tomatoes, fresh mussels, diced squid and king prawns.

MAINS

Merluzzo con cozze al Guazzetto e N`duja £16.95
Cod loin in a fiery N`duja (soft spicy salami), tomato, olive and white wine Guazzetto sauce. Served with spinach, tender stem broccoli and crispy bread crostini.

Cosciotto D`agnello con Rosmarino e Vino Rosso £17.95
Slow cooked shank of lamb, in a red wine and rosemary jus. Served with Fontina mashed potatoes and carrots.

Arrosto Di Maiale Con Pure di Patate £16.95
“Our signature dish” of out-door reared pork belly with perfectly crispy crackling. Roasted with vegetables, chilli and red wine. Served with Fontina mashed potatoes.

Pollo alla Boscaiola £14.95
A free range chicken breast in a creamy mushroom, tomato and tarragon sauce. Served with peas, carrots and roasted potatoes.

Branzino al Limone £16.95
Fillets of fresh seabass cooked in a butter, lemon and white wine sauce. Served with spinach and potato.

Filetto al Pepe Verde £24.95
Prime fillet steak and green peppercorns in a rich red wine sauce with a touch of cream. Served with roast potatoes, carrots and tender stem broccoli.

Arancini con Spinaci e Taleggio V £13.95
Home-made Arancini filled with Taleggio and spinach. (A Sicilian speciality, deep fried rice balls). Served in a spicy tomato sauce, topped with vegetarian Parmesan.

Buonissimo was named one of the Top 50 restaurants in the UK for service in the 2018 Top Table Diners' Choice Awards.

We’re very sorry to announce that from today Buonissimo will be closed until further notice. The safety of our staff and customers is always our top priority, and in the current situation we feel that this is the right decision for us to make.

We would like to thank everyone who has sent us wonderful messages of support over the last few days. We’re truly blessed to be in the middle of such a warm and supportive community, and we hope that everyone stays safe and healthy over the coming weeks.
